The EAGLEs project aims to develop an innovative and practical training package for young unemployed people to acquire positive coping skills based on positive psychology principles as well as professional skills that will facilitate their personal development, their employability, and foster their entrepreneurial spirit.

To define a strategy to facilitate internet access for lecturers and students.
To identify and develop infrastructures for establishing e-learning programs in local universities.
To tune a joint e-learning platform and to create or update virtual e-learning centers with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
To develop e-learning educational modules and materials in those topics of strategic interest for the countries.
To train trainers from partner countries in topics related to e-learning and new teaching methods aligned with Bologna standards.
To foster and strength the cooperation between partner universities in the region, defining agreements and practices that consolidate a basic but stable learning environment.
To improve quality assessment practices, aligning them to Bologna standards.
To create a legal framework draft for online programs in South Sudan, based on standard European practices in Higher Education and aligned with the current frameworks in neighbouring countries (Sudan and Kenya).
These efforts include assessing internet access at universities and in the community, proposing realistic solutions to improve access, and training local technicians to effectively implement and maintain satellite connections
This initiative includes strategizing internet access for lecturers and students and deploying hardware to host e-learning platforms at each partner university, ensuring robust support for online education.
The process involves installing and operating the e-learning platform, establishing virtual e-learning centers, and creating tools and a management center to effectively support learning management systems (LMS)
Training local educators includes sessions on Moodle and e-material preparation, adopting innovative e-learning methods, and aligning teaching practices with Bologna standards to enhance educational quality and promote effective, modern approaches in line with European guidelines.
The development of transversal e-learning educational modules is crucial to enhance flexible and inclusive learning opportunities. This process includes structuring the modules, configuring and producing high-quality educational materials, and conducting a pilot phase to evaluate and refine the modules for optimal effectiveness.
Project management will be based on fluid communication and respect to the rest of the partners; active participation of all persons involved; technical efficiency in the implementation of tasks; efficiency in the cost of all the programmed activities and transparency in the technical and administrative reports.
Developing a legal platform for online programs is essential to ensure proper implementation and compliance with regulations. The process involves organizing a workshop to establish standard practices for creating a legal framework for online programs.
The promotion of the goals, activities and results of the project will be an important part for its sustainability and communication with society. Dissemination tasks include promoting online modules, conferences, websites and use of social netowkrs, reports and promotional booklets.
Our project is advancing across key work packages to build a sustainable e-learning ecosystem. We are developing infrastructure, tuning a common platform, and establishing e-learning structures. Training for teachers and technicians is underway, alongside the creation of educational modules. Quality control ensures excellence, while legal frameworks support online programs in South Sudan. Finally, dissemination efforts will maximize impact and sustainability. Stay tuned for updates!
